I am adopted and am trying to find out some information on a member of my Birth Family, but I’m 2000 miles away. I know she had a lengthy criminal record, and I thought since she’s deceased, I might be able to access the local police files when I go there for the holidays. Does anyone know what restrictions there would be and what I would need to access them? I want detailed information not outdated cheezy stuff you can buy and access for free on the internet.
